Network operation security
The Delegia servers are placed on the best co-location facility in Sweden, one of the largest telecom-operators: IP-only. IP-Only has an extensive security level and the server hall is located in a former military facility in southern Stockholm, 20 meters below in the primary rock.

The facility is connected to the IP-Only backbone with several physical independent connections to different fibernets. The server hall is monitored 24 hours a day and have protection against fire, powerloss et cetera.

IP-only has its own fiber connections to Hamburg, Paris, Köpenhamn, Amsterdam, London and New York for the best connectivity.

Information security
The Delegia Meeting system utilizes some of the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. When you access our site, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects your information using both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure, and available only to registered Users in your organization. Your data will be completely inaccessible to your competitors.
When attendees register with credit cards, the card data is encrypted with SSL and no card data is saved on our servers.

Delegia provides each user in your organization with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a user logs on. The Delegia Meeting System issues a session "cookie" only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The session "cookie" does not include either the username or password of the user. Delegia does not use "cookies" to store other confidential user and session information, but instead implements more advanced security methods based on dynamic data and encoded session IDs.

The Delegia Meeting System is hosted in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders.

Hourly backups of the registration data ensures the data security.

Staff security
All Delegia staff has completed the security agreement when working with our systems and with customer data. We also have special routines to handle data in a secure way during all processes.

Credit card security
Delegia is following the development of the security standards within card payments. We are following the new standard from Payment Card Industry, PCI DSS, that is developed by the global card companies to minimize fraud and raise the security level for users of cards on the internet.
